Joyeux Noël!

Today is the 25th of December and it’s Christmas Day! Yeah!
To celebrate Christmas I tried to play a song on my piano – The song was recorded using my SE G700 cellphone so the sound and picture quality is kinda crappy.
Anyway, please click the link below if you care to check out my crappy attempt on a christmas song
Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
Uh yeah, I uploaded it on youtube as well, just for the sake of uploading something in youtube. lol.

Merry Christmas. Felis Navidad. Joyeux Noel. Selamat Natal!

Coffee Day Out – Kopi Progo

I love coffee, and drinking coffee has been a habit to me for God knows how long. Having a sip of coffee every now and then certainly helped me to enjoy life.
Just yesterday, a friend told me about this place called Kopi Progo, where the coffee was said to be good. By the way, “Kopi” translates into “Coffee” in English.
Earlier tonight, I went to Kopi Progo to check out the coffee.  The place itself wasn’t far from my place, it was a fifteen minute walk to reach there. When we …

The Paradise of Dim-Sum

I am a huge fan of oriental food, especially Chinese and Japanese foods. Teriyaki, Tempura, Yakiniku, Sushi, Udon, Fuyunghai, Ifumie, Roast Duck, Dumpling, Kuo Tie, bla-bla-bla,  you name it. I love them all. But standing out above any other oriental food, is dim-sum. Dim sum itself, is the name for a Chinese cuisine which involves a wide range of light dishes served alongside Chinese Tea.
On my twenty-first birthday, I went to Ah Yat Abalone Forum Restaurant to celebrate with my family. It is located at the Golden Boutique Hotel, somewhere …

Happy 21st Birthday to Me!

Being twenty-one marks a young man’s coming-of-age. While girls have their own sweet sixteens and/or sweet seventeens,  men gets our own legal-branded twenty-one instead. It’s a sacred landmark for men, really.
The day was November 23rd, 2009, and now I’m 21. Somehow I am reminded by the old saying “Few women admit their age. Few men act theirs.” So it’s not all about legality anymore eh? so..

I was really excited at each and every one of the 250 facebook comments, 23 text messages, 16 tweets, and 13 e-mails congratulating me. …

You think your English’s good?

I live in Indonesia, a country whose main language is Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian Language). Actually every single foreigner I know refer the Indonesian language as “Bahasa” , which doesn’t make any sense at all – considering that “bahasa” translates to “language”. Get it?
English is not exactly a second language here, considering that the locals tend to speak in their own local language a.k.a. vernatular (it’s true, there are like gazillions of vernatulars out there )
Some people though, are really fluent in english. They are either 1) born outside …

PLN Jakarta

PLN (Perusahaan Listrik Negara), is the government’s private company who supplies electricity to our homes. The Indonesian government ruled so that other electricity suppliers besides PLN can not sell electricity in Indonesia, because they fear that commercial companies might take advantage and sell electricity to us at a very high price.
So basically, PLN is our only elixir of life. They live, we live. They die, we die. It’s as simple as that.
Problem, is that the supply and demand don’t exactly measure up. For example, Jakarta eats up an average 4,947 …

Trying Toni Jack’s out

Ever since I was small, I’m used to eat at the McDonald’s. Eating in McDonalds’ was a necessity for me, and I usually eat there like twice a week after school. The McDonald’s store was just a few hundred metres away from my house so I could just walk there and buy something nice for myself. My favourite menu was the McChicken™ which tasted really really good back then : D
Too bad that now, I have found out the ‘evil’ that fastfood restaurants has inside, and unfortunately, McDonald’s is a …
